Singles champion for 2024. The UHPC (Upper Hutt Petanque Club) held its Singles Club championship tournament on 6 October at Maidstone Park. Sixteen players took part in three rounds of play, random draw. The players were then ranked on their results with the top eight going into a single elimination, while the bottom eight played for the ‘Plate’. The final was won by Derek Worsley, 13/2 who took home the trophy and winners medal. Congratulations to Derek. The ‘Plate’ final was won by Dave Gwerder.

Thanks to all players and to supporters. Our next Club Championship is the Doubles, to be held on 10 November.
