From Tuesday morning (25th of February) , all of the Wellington Region, including Wellington suburbs, Hutt Valley, Upper Hutt, Porirua, and Kapiti are all under a restricted fire season.

This means anyone who wants to light an outdoor fire first need to apply for a permit.
