The storm at the beginning of the month was a timely reminder that it’s important to be prepared for emergencies, weather events, and natural disasters.

This coming Thursday (22 May 2025), our Rotary Lounge will be closed for the day for an emergency management exercise. Our team, alongside colleagues from Upper Hutt City Council and staff from support agencies, will test procedures and resources so that we continue to be ready to respond and support our community in a disaster.

• Newspapers and crosswords will still be available for you.
• Our Justice of the Peace service will run as usual – please ask our team to show you where they are seated.
