A serial beggar who has been present from Auckland to Whanganui has now been witnessed in Johnsonville and Lower Hutt. She’s been creating different stories and identities, including being pregnant, to prey on people’s emotions. Her stories have included being pregnant, having a daughter, needing money for rent and food, having her visa denied, etcetera. Suspicions arose when people offered her food, she refused it and asked for money instead.

In Lower Hutt she’s been seen outside K-Mart in Petone, and outside New World.

She’s well aware that people are on to her act, and will turn away if people try to take a photo.
