Wellington Speedway would like to congratulate our Wellington Young Guns Stockcar Team on their third placing at the Peter Barry Stockcar Teams Championship over the weekend!

We’d also like to congratulate the team on an awesome season of teams racing overall. They’ve experienced the highs, and the lows, and have grown immensely over the season.

Thank you to the drivers for being willing to put their cars and bodies on the line for their club. Stockcar Teams racing is an incredible commitment, and we cannot thank you enough for getting on there to represent us. Along with the drivers, we’d like to thank their families, crews and sponsors for supporting them all in being there. It goes without saying that they couldn’t do it without all of the support, so thank you to all of those involved as well.

Well done our Young Guns, you’ve done your club proud once again!
