Upper Hutt Petanque Club hosted the WPA Champion of Champions tournament on Saturday 22nd March. 7 teams played against each other in a Round Robin tournament format, at the end of which Upper Hutt took the trophy with 6 wins, followed by Silverstream with 4 wins, followed by Horowhenua, also with 4 wins. Silverstream were placed in front of Horowhenua since they beat them when they played each other. In this case the differential scores were not required to differentiate winners.
