Latest results from regional and Club competitions. Brian Smith and Moises Burgos UHPC (Upper Hutt Petanque Club) won the Naenae open Doubles, held on Saturday 9 November. The Plate final was won by UHPC members Dave Gwerder and Mary Khalil.

The UHPC Club Doubles Championship was held on Sunday 10 November. A total of 10 teams took part. The day was damp, with persistent drizzle throughout most of the day. The eventual winners were, once again, Brian Smith and Moises Burgos. Both of these members are having an outstanding season. Brian was a member of last year’s winning team, so gets his name on the trophy for another year. Moises is also a National Doubles Champion. Congratulations to the winners and well done to all competitors for a great tournament.
