The past several weekends have seen a number of our juniors travelling and putting in the mahi at tournaments around the region (and they’re not finished yet!). UHCF has had over 40 team entries across all of our junior grades and it’s worth a shout out to the coaches, players, families, and other volunteers who have helped make the tournament weeks so enjoyable. Whether it’s been our U7s taking part in their first post-season tournaments, U8s coming away champions in the WU Extra Time tournament (U8 Black pictured), U9s winning shields, U10s winning swords and both U11s progressing to semi finals at Wests Wellington Graded Champs, two (2!) U12 girls only teams participating at the LH Mike and Marie tournament with one coming away as runners up (U12 Starlets pictured), and our U12s mixed team finishing as runners up at Douglas Villa, there has been a whole lot of great football. Special thanks to our junior tournament coordinator, Natalie Forbes, for facilitating all of the entries and a massive thank you to the clubs who have run them:
