This weekend we welcome another member of our Toa ITM Men’s First Team Squad to the 100 appearances club – Brandon “Dos” Postlethwaite.

Brandon made his first appearance for the First Team back in 2014 when then head coach Pedro Garcias gave him his debut off the bench during the last game of the season vs Palmerston North Marist.

In the following years Brandon became a regular name on the team-sheet under Pedro Garcias and Mark Foster, before leaving the club for a bit of a hiatus, playing for North Wellington and Stop Out respectively for a number of years, before returning to Upper Hutt in 2023 to help us earn a top 3 finish in Capital Premier.

Not known for his goal scoring exploits, Brandon has only scored 1 goal in his time with the club – amazingly, this came in his 99th appearance against BNU in the Chatham Cup last weekend!

Brandon can be best described as a consistent, reliable, and strong defender, with calmness and quality on the ball, whilst also being eager to throw any part of his body into a tackle.

We look forward to seeing a fair few people turn up on Saturday to cheer on Brandon and his huge achievement!
