Upper Hutt Athletics Clubs athletes excelled with 89 medals across two days of competition at the recent Wellington Junior Athletics Champs held at Newtown Park on March 16th and 23rd. Most notable was a new record in the 10 girls 400m set by Hazel Roos, 

The club was awarded the trophy for most club points in the 10-15 grades across the interclubs in the 2024-25 season, an award the club had never previously won. In addition, Matthew Meiklejohn was awarded the top male middle distance runner across the interclub season, and Conor Sharkey the top thrower. UHAC concludes its summer season with its club champs on Wednesday.
