Dave Rennie has been appointed as the new coach for the All Blacks. Born in Upper Hutt, he went to Heretaunga College. He played for the Upper Hutt rugby football club until a shoulder injury forced him to retire at 27. He then moved into a coaching role at the Upper Hutt rugby football club. He then trained as a teacher, and taught at Maidstone Intermediate in Upper Hutt.
