Hi everyone, I’m always looking for new articles for The Upper Hutt Connection. As you may not know, the staff and management of The Upper Hutt Connection is a one-man band – I look for articles and material the best I can, but there are plenty of areas and hobbies which I have no real engagement or connection with. As you might have guessed from the material I put up, one of my main hobbies is cooking and baking.

I’m sure that there are plenty out there who are for example:

• Gardeners
• Supporters and fans of The Upper Hutt Rams
• Are connected with the Upper Hutt Hockey Club
• Involved with Upper Hutt City Football
• Take a keen interest in local politics
• and many other interests.

If you are involved in these or other areas, would you like to consider becoming a volunteer contributor for The Upper Hutt Connection? You could certainly help make The Upper Hutt Connection an even more interesting newspaper. There’s no obligation to provide an article once a week or anything like that, it’s more of a “When I can” or “When I feel like it” basis.
