
Maidstone’s William Pike group took on an epic day of whitewater rafting and rock climbing and what a day it was! From splashing through rapids to scaling rock faces, our ākonga showed huge courage, teamwork, and determination.For many, it was a true highlight of the year, pushing past fears, giving everything a go, and making memories they’ll never forget.

Students performed their kapa haka as part of the Upper Hutt Multicultural festival, they then followed it up two days later at the Intermediate Schools Kapa Haka Festival at the Lower Hutt Town Hall

Maidstone’s Rocket League (Rocket Car Soccer) team came 4th out of 20 in the fast paced and exciting competition.

Maidstone’s EPro8 team made it all the way to the semi-finals. Their challenge was to build a working model of the DeLorean time machine and they did an outta-this-world job! – Even though the journey ended at the semis, the creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills they showed were truly next level.

And Maidstone’s acting troupe performed their take on Shakespeare’s classic, As You Like It.
