
Ingredients
500g mince
1 large egg
1 tsp garlic salt
1 cup soft breadcrumbs (can be substituted with finely crushed corn chips)
Grind of black pepper
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cups of water
1 tbsp vinegar
½ cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
¼ – ½ cup sugar
Method
Mix the mince, large egg, garlic salt, soft breadcrumbs, and pepper in a large bowl (using your hands works best), and form into meatballs, about the size of a large walnut.
Fry the onion in a large frying pan in some oil until clear. Add the other ingredients listed and then add the meatballs. Bring the frying pan to the boil, and then reduce to simmer. Cook until meatballs are cooked through.
Serve with rice or potatoes.
