Sausage & Green Bean Carbonara

The quantities for the ingredients in this meal are flexible. The only consistent thing is using one egg per person.

Ingredients:

  • Spaghetti / Fettuccine
  • Eggs (1 egg per person)
  • 400g – 500g Sausages (brand/type of your choice)
  • Green Beans
  • Grated cheese

Method:

Prepare green beans. Cook them either in a saucepan or in the microwave.

Slice sausages cook them in a frying pan over a medium heat. Cook for ten minutes, and then cutting a piece in half to check to see that there is no pink meat inside.

Cook pasta in boiling water, as per instructions on the packet.

While pasta is cooking, beat the eggs in a small bowl. Adding black pepper, garlic salt, or other seasonings that you’d like to add.

After pasta has cooked, turn off the element, drain the pasta, then return it to the element. Add the beaten egg mixture, the sausages, the green beans, and the grated cheese. Stir until the egg scrambles through the pasta.
