Easy carbonara

The quantities for the ingredients in this meal are flexible. The only consistent thing is using one egg per person.

Ingredients:

Spaghetti / Fettuccine
Eggs (1 egg per person)
Bacon / Ham / Smoked Sausage (I use Verkerk’s Rookwurst)
Grated cheese

Method:

Cook pasta in boiling water, as per instructions on the packet.

While pasta is cooking, beat the eggs in a small bowl. Adding black pepper, garlic salt, or other seasonings that you’d like to add.

Cut into strips the bacon / ham or smoked sausage, cooking the meat if necessary.

After pasta has cooked, turn off the element, drain the pasta, then return it to the element. Add the beaten egg mixture, the meat, and the grated cheese. Stir until the egg scrambles through the pasta.
