Section 101 Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Gaurang & Hitarthi Gandhi  Limited has applied to the District Licensing Committee in Upper Hutt for an OFF licence renewal for the premises situated at 7 Camp Street, Trentham Upper Hutt and known as Trentham Mini Mart.

The general nature of the business conducted (or to be conducted) under the licence is:

Grocery store selling alcohol to consume off site.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is (or is intended to be) sold under the licence are:

Monday to Sunday, 7.00 am to 10.00pm

Objections

Any person may object to an application for the grant or renewal of a licence, whether as an individual or as a representative of a group or an organisation.

However, a trade competitor may object to an application only if the trade competitor is directly affected by the application in a way that does not relate to —

• trade competition; or
• the effects of trade competition; and

A person may not object to an application if the person receives, or is likely to receive, direct or indirect help from a trade competitor to object to the application.

Objections must not be lodged later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary, Upper Hutt City District Licensing Committee, Private Bag 907, Upper Hutt.

A copy of your objection in its entirety will be provided to the applicant, Licensing Inspector, Police and Medical Officer of Health and District Licensing Committee.
