Applications for the first funding round of the 2026-2027 Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) are now open!

We distribute this funding on behalf of Creative New Zealand. If you are passionate about arts and culture in Upper Hutt, and are working on a project that will engage locals with art, music, dance, and more, we encourage you to apply for a CCS grant.

Many of our city’s community events, creative workshops, and performances are made possible thanks to this funding support from Creative New Zealand – from cultural celebrations and art sessions for young people to concerts, dance showcases, and more.

Apply by 5.00pm on Monday, 2 November 2026.
