I’m Luke Ross, a Silverstream resident and your local candidate for the Opportunity Party.

People are tired, worried and facing a political system that hasn’t seen a major change in decades. The status quo isn’t working. The Opportunity Party is a circuit-breaker, ready to bring fresh ideas and a true bipartisan approach, focusing on our three core areas: 

Fix politics – end wasteful policy flip-flops, strengthen democracy through Citizens’ Assemblies, and limit the influence of corporate lobbyists.

Build the next economy – bring prices down by regulating the supermarkets, building renewable energy and creating a tax system that ensures that every Kiwi can live well and contribute.

Restore nature – stop bottom-trawling, protect our oceans and forests, and prioritise meaningful action on climate change.
