Good afternoon. I have read the article regarding indicative water costs with some disbelief, and trepidation. The indicative rates start at $7 per day, and go up. Does this cost include the connection? I have a relative in Kapiti, where they have had water meters for some time. The monthly bill for a household of 3 is between $50-$60 every three MONTHS. This doesn’t include the connection cost, which is part of the rates. How does the local water entity which we will be part of, arrive at their costs?
