Have you lost some keys? So have I!

I lost my keys on a Sunday evening — somewhere between where I live in Trentham and where I visited friends in central Wellington.

The next day I went to the information counter at Wellington Railway Station, (I got my phone back once from there, and my bicycle on another occasion after passengers were evacuated from a train and I left my wheels on board.) My keys hadn’t been handed to railways, so I visited the reception counters at Upper Hutt Police Station, Wellington Police Station and Lower Hutt Police Station.

My keys were not waiting for me in police custody, either, but I want to tell everyone who has lost keys for a house or a vehicle, there are keys waiting at every police station.

They aren’t mine and they might not be yours, but it may be worthwhile taking a look — they must be somebody’s.
