Kia ora Upper Hutt
This Monday, 12 May we’re starting works to install a new wastewater pipe along Logan Street. This builds on work we’re already doing along Logan Street to realign a drinking water pipe.
We’ll be starting from where Mcparland Street intersects with Logan Street, and working our way up to the Queens Street roundabout.
Here’s all you need to know:
- We expect this work to be completed by around July/August although we expect the work near residential housing (from the Mcparland to the Sinclair St intersection) to take about a month to complete.
- Traffic management will be in place, but two lanes of traffic will be maintained.
- There will be restrictions on traffic going both ways along Kowhai Ave, where it intersects with Logan Street.
- While the works take place, please park away from the worksite so that the crews can safely carry out the work.
A big thank you to local residents for your understanding and patience!
