Where do people sleeping in cars, under bridges, in a friends garage or lounge floor go when they need some help to cope with life’s issues? How about the ones who have a home but are weighed down with family or financial burdens?

Upper Hutt Housing Charitable Trust are opening a drop in centre for people to come to for maybe just a friendly chat with others, or they might want to discuss ways to address issues in their lives.

The Trust needs some volunteers to help deliver these services for four hours two days a week. Training will be given and support provided. If you would like a job description and some more information or want to ask some questions about the role then please contact Judy Dixon 022 043 4703 or judy@uhht.org.nz.
