Five firetrucks were called to a blaze on Dante Road in Trentham just after 4pm on Saturday and one person sustained serious injures.

Crews from Trentham, Remutaka, Silverstream, Avalon, Wellington City, and Thorndon attended the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
