Two crashes, one involving a police car closed State Highway 2 for hours yesterday. One was at the stretch of State Highway 2 on the River Road, in-between the Totara Park and Whakatiki Street Intersections. The other, involving a police car and two other vehicles – The police car was on its way to the earlier crash, occurred on the River Road near Gibbons Street. No serious injuries were reported.
