Roadworks on SH2 at Silverstream and Fergusson Drive while critical phase of the Silverstream Pipe bridge is undertaken

The cut-in works to connect the existing pipeline with the Whakawhirinaki: Silverstream pipe bridge are starting on 27 June. This work is estimated to take four weeks.

There will be some disruption while this work is underway. Please be patient and plan ahead while travelling through SH2 Silverstream and Fergusson Drive during this time.

This is a key piece of infrastructure for the Wellington region, supplying drinking water to all of Upper Hutt, Stokes Valley, Porirua and up to 40% of Wellington City.
