Kia Ora everyone, here’s a rundown of road works in Hutt CBD from Friday May 15-22.

• Marsden Street (between Railway Avenue and Bridge Street): contraflow traffic system in operation at all times. Reduced parking in this area.
• Underside of Ewen Bridge: Contractor personnel will direct cyclists and pedestrians as necessary.
• Queens Drive / High Street roundabout (near McDonald’s): closed until December 2026 as part of the SH2 Melling Transport Improvements project.
• Melling Link Bridge: Slip lane onto Rutherford Street is open with traffic management in place.
• Connolly Street northbound: Closed to vehicles travelling from the Melling Road roundabout to Mills Street. Please follow detours.
• Connolly Street southbound: open to traffic with speed restrictions.
