Recycling for Charity is looking for donations

Chino Barrett-Lovie: Stuff

Daniel Talbot who runs Recycling for Charity is currently looking for donations of old and obsolete tech from companies, government agencies, and the general public.

The public can drop their old tech at Recycling for Charity itself, at 1 King Charles Drive, Kingsley Heights, Upper Hutt. Mobile phones can also be dropped off at select hospitals in the Wellington Region.

Recycling for Charity sells old electronics and recycles e-waste, with its sole aim of giving back to the community. Through the years Recycling for Charity has been operating, Daniel has gifted $20,000 to charities and community groups. He has also donated countless laptops, tablets, and computer equipment to those in need of them. The more old electronics he receives, the more people Talbot can reach, he said.

“I want to offer the same community spirit to more of New Zealand, but without the support it’s never going to get to that level.”
