New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport (NZCIS) has been evacuated due to a message containing a bomb threat. Police say that they do not believe there was any immediate safety risk but they do take these threats seriously.

Enquiries remain ongoing into the source of the message.

The Wellington Phoenix and The Hurricanes were training at the facility at the time of the message and have made arrangements to continue training elsewhere.
