Mum gets $85 parking notice from using the drive-through at McDonalds – It was later waived but this isn’t a one-off event

Mother Bridie Philip received a parking breach notice after using the McDonalds drive-through in Upper Hutt three times in one day. As she says “I didn’t park, I didn’t even leave my car and I got an $85 ticket,”

The parking breach notice claimed she had been parked illegally from 3.12 pm which was the time of her first visit, to 7.27 pm the time of her last visit.

A few other customers have had similar experiences with parking notices at McDonalds Upper Hutt.
