The extension deck for Building 2 step access to the remaining door is now almost complete, thanks to Darryl/Phil/David/Curtis and Keilen. Curtis has now left for “greener” pastures after successfully getting a Park Ranger position with DOC at Mt Cook. We wish him well on his journey.
The small shed (ex UHCC) adjacent to the Bowling Club building has been uplifted and relocated
behind the garage. With help from Mitre10 to providing a HiAB for the move the shed was in its new location within an hour. Whilst some remedial work has been needed to make it secure, it will provide much needed storage for the shed.

Work is complete on fitting the downpipes on each building (Peter/David and Doug) which will
complete our stormwater solution for the site. We only have another ramp access to construct
before we can request a final inspection and sign off our Building Consent.
Ongoing projects
The last of garden benches which needed some TLC has been completed and picked up.

The YMCA project has also been completed and 24 gutter boards were picked up recently. Thanks
mainly to Lindsay/Doug/Mike R for their completion. We were rewarded with a substantial morning tea which everyone was very happy about and received a Big Thank you card signed by all the kids! The Doris Nicholson project (bed/table) has also been completed (Doug). A further project still has to be costed before starting.

In continuing to support Ferguson Intermediate with their rat tunnel project, we expect to provide them with galvanized mesh on their return to school.
Mike C has championed Wallaceville Play Centre with various projects in hand (refurbishing puzzles, cover for a sand pit and a replacement gate amongst others). I’m sure they are very grateful for his commitment to their Playcentre.
