With the extension deck step access now complete, attention has been focussed on connecting the downpipes from each building to the storm water system.

Downpipes on each building (Peter/David and Doug) were fitted recently and connected to the storm water system which was completed before Christmas.

Work has now started on providing the final ramp access to our remaining building before final inspection for our Code Compliance Certificate. The small shed we moved last month is now being refurbished with a new floor, secure door and a new roof to provide us some much needed storage of our paint supplies.

A further two Doris Nicholson projects have been completed. It was hoped that the picnic table could be refurbished but the elements had not been kind and a decision was taken to replace it totally. The painting table was a bit wobbly and the top needed to be replaced. A slick paint job in bright red completed the job!  

Peter has helped with a small project requested by Friends of the Stream (Bart) in trimming/shaping a large log ready for carving.

A small job was also completed fitting a new bridge to a small ukulele. Obviously the musician had got a little too enthusiastic whilst playing and the bridge came flying off!

Mike C continues to help Wallaceville Play Centre and is making a set of drawers (?) – at least that ‘s what it looks like – maybe a completed photo next month.

We were slightly taken aback recently when a member of the public asked if we would like some cycles he had – we recycle unrepairable bikes. So the next day a large stock of cycles of all shapes and sizes was gratefully received! Better than going to the land fill! We selected a small running bike from the rest and with very little work it was able to be repaired and now is having a second life at a local kindy!
