Golder Homestead Museum Society, Inc farewelled Yvonne Airey our past President at an Afternoon Tea (Thurs 10), held at Golder’s Cottage. In appreciation of Yvonne’s, many years of service to Golder Cottage, our new President David Passmore presented Yvonne and husband Bob, with Honorary Life Membership.  Bob, our key handyman in recent years, using his carpentry skill at the cottage.  His last project has been a new and improved letter box!

We wish Yvonne & Bob well on their move to Napier, warm climate and closer to family.

Both Cherylynn (nee Browne) and David Passmore are Life Membership of the Society. David was also a member of the original Golder Homestead Museum Society Committee. Cherylnn provides the Golder family link through her mother Janice Browne (nee Golder)  and is our co-ordinator for Group tours (P: 528 9855)
