Need a LIM before Christmas? Submit your application by Monday, 8 December 2025 to allow time for processing.

Statutory timeframes pause from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026 under the Resource Management Act 1991 and Building Act 2004. The statutory processing clock resumes on Monday, 12 January 2026, when the 10 working days begin.

Our processing clock officially pauses from Saturday, 20 December 2025 to Saturday, 10 January 2026 as per the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

If you apply after Friday, 21 December, we’ll do our best to complete your LIM before the break. However, there’s a chance it might not be ready.
