Flags flown half-mast at Upper Hutt City Council to honour the passing of former Prime Minister Jim Bolger

Upper Hutt City Council

We’re flying our flags at half-mast today to honour Jim Bolger, Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1990 to 1997, who has passed away aged 90.

He led the country’s first MMP government in coalition with Winston Peters and is remembered for his role in the Treaty settlement process during the 1990s.

Rest in peace, Jim Bolger.
