
Pokhara, Nepal — The Pokhara Metropolitan City has officially appointed Dr. Ramil Adhikari as the Tourism Ambassador for the Oceania region, recognizing his outstanding engagement within the New Zealand-based Nepali community and his professional and academic achievements. In a formal letter of appointment signed by Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, the metropolitan city expressed its confidence that Dr. Adhikari’s efforts will significantly contribute to the global promotion of Pokhara’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
According to the letter, Dr. Adhikari’s role will be honorary and voluntary. He has been entrusted with the responsibility of representing and promoting Pokhara across New Zealand and other countries within the Oceania region. In his capacity as a Tourism Ambassador, Dr. Adhikari is expected to promote Pokhara through public events, educational and media platforms, and social campaigns. His role also includes facilitating collaborations among stakeholders and offering valuable suggestions to the Pokhara Metropolitan City.
Pokhara Metropolitan City extended best wishes for his successful tenure and expressed confidence that Dr. Adhikari’s dedication in this role will strengthen Pokhara’s presence and reputation on the international stage.
