Last Friday (28th of August) Summerset Trentham residents held their first Daffodil Day walk around the village. It helped raise awareness of the day, celebrated community spirit and part of fundraising for the day. Des Coppins, former horse racing celebrity and commentator and Wellington Racing Club Board member and Du’Plessis Kirifi – Hurricanes and Wellington Lions player
started the walk and mixed with residents in the Divine Café beforehand.
