The Year 8 ākonga had their market day last Tuesday, showing off their creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills.

It’s a bit of a sports week at Maidstone: Students represented Maidstone at the Hutt Valley Intermediate Tennis Tournament. There was also the WRISSA Baseball tournament where Maidstone had two wins out of four matches, resulting in solid 5th place finish – and at Thursday night’s Competitive Touch all the teams came away with wins.

On Thursday afternoon, the school dance groups took the train into Wellington to see the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s The Nutcracker. The school dance groups were absolutely captivated by the stunning costumes, beautiful choreography, and the festive spirit of the show.

Elsewhere, others at the Maidstone took part in the Battle of the Fittest! Going head-to-head in the ultimate test of strength, speed, and stamina.The energy was electric, the competition fierce, and the teamwork inspiring. Everyone gave it their all and showed incredible resilience and spirit!
