The Kaitoke pipe bridge has had a paw-fect makeover as modelled by ranger Steve and assistant Lucky

A new paw-friendly dog ramp makes crossing the bridge easier on doggie paws.

Reopened at the end of 2024, the new earthquake resistant pipe bridge carries 50% of the Wellington Region’s drinking water. Check it out, and give your fur-baby some exercise by walking the Swingbridge Track at Kaitoke Regional Park.
