That didn’t take long!

Remember the new pāteke breeding pair we welcomed from The Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust back in May?

Well, they’ve wasted no time settling in — and we’re thrilled to share that their first duckling has already arrived!

As part of the Captive Breeding Programme for this nationally endangered, endemic dabbling duck, we had high hopes — and these two have delivered.
