We have a new exciting addition to the community. Our very own little library!

Sitting on the wall at St Margarets Church it operates in much the same way as the pantry does, just for books! Take a book, leave a book and share great reads with the community all for free.

We have been chipping away at this in the garage for a few months and we have a few local people to thank for making it possible. Huge thanks to the NZBuilder himself Josh Chapman who didn’t even blink at the idea of supplying all the materials. The Dobbelaar Family for taking on the construction and paint job and a few finishing touches from Johann at Complete Engineering Services Ltd. Lastly thank you to St Margarets church for giving us the perfect location.

We hope everyone gets a lot of enjoyment out of this and has a flow of great books going through it.

It will be maintained by us and not the church so much so if you have any questions or concerns please message us directly from the Silverstream Community Page on Facebook.
