Don’t you know what happened in the first Easter weekend all the way back in 34 AD? Well, you’re not alone, a certain traveler from the city of Ephesus had no idea either, until they received a job proposal from Caiaphas, the high priest in Jerusalem. Caiaphas needs someone to spy on a certain popular prophet for him – he’s offering to pay them well. A certain traveler takes up the offer, but they soon find out that anyone who takes up this job offer will find that it isn’t what’s its cracked up to be.

The Plot to Kill the King is based on the eye witness accounts of those who were with Jesus during that first Easter weekend. A traitor who’ll betray him for 30 pieces of silver, one who insisted that he wouldn’t deny knowing him and then less than twelve hours later he’d realise to his horror that he’d done exactly that, a governor caught between a rock and a hard place, a crucifixion and resurrection… The original Easter weekend has it all.

If there is one thing that the traveler will find out for themselves personally, it’s to “Always Save the Game!” *. To bad you can’t do this in real life!

There’s more to do than just experience the Gospel first hand, at least as close to “first hand” as you can get. Other activities include:

• Two Side Quests: The Judaean Armed Forces, and the Judaean Postal Service
• Cooking: Ingredients can be bought in Jerusalem or randomly dropped by enemies. Meals give permanent and temporary benefits.
• Mining: Dig up ore and gems in Arimathea, and then sell said ore and gems.
• Crime and punishment: Steal from people’s houses!… and then everyone in Judaea knows about it, as if they use social media or something.

* Honestly, it is easy to get killed early on from the wild animal encounters – do save your game frequently. It will save you a lot of frustration.
