RIP Peter Canvin

Peter is remembered as a member of the Upper Hutt District club in the late 1970s to early 80s playing in a grade winning 2A/2B side and also at senior reserve level. He was a wicket keeper and very handy middle order batter.

Returning to Upper Hutt after a period living overseas Peter settled in Silverstream with wife Judy and children Michael and Sarah.

Michael also played cricket through Upper Hutt College (up to 1991) and subsequently for both District and United versions of Upper Hutt. Michael now lives in Australia but is returning for the funeral and will be catching up with a few old teammates.
