Location: Wesley Church Hall, Benzie Ave
Sadly, the Upper Hutt “Save The Children” coffee morning, on Tuesday 10 November, will be the last we will hold, as we are closing down. A number of factors have contributed to the committee’s decision to close, and that decision has not been made lightly.
The final coffee morning will start at 10.00am and is in the Wesley Church Hall in Benzie Ave. We would like to extend a welcome, to all past and present attendees to join us for morning tea/coffee, Christmas mince pies, and sausage rolls. Admission is $7 and the Christmas Raffle will be on sale. The Happy Wanderers will be coming along, and you can all join, in a rousing sing-along session of Christmas Carols.
To enable us to go out on a high note, there will be 4 draws for our Christmas Baskets. Tickets are $2 ea, or 3 tickets for $5. Every cent raised from the coffee morning, will go directly to Save The Children. The committee donates all prizes and morning tea components.
A big thank you, to all those who have supported us over the years, and enabled us to raise a considerable amount of money for such a worthy cause. We appreciate and love you all.
