BB- the updated version of Boy’s Brigade, is the oldest uniformed youth organisation in the world, and in 2026 we celebrate 140 years of BB in New Zealand.

Your local group meets at Lane Park Church (LPC) on Thursdays from 6:30 till 8 pm for boys of age 8 till 11 years (Adventure), and boys of ages 12-14 (Delta Junior). Our older boys of ages 14-18 (Delta Senior) continue to meet till 8:30. We run the ICONZ program that was specially developed for boys and young men in New Zealand.

Has your boy ever sat around a fire with others and toasted marshmallows?

How many times has your son eaten fresh snow and marvelled?

Have the young men in your family seen a sunrise and wondered?

Do the men in our future society need to understand themselves better and be able to relate to others?

What role does God have to play in our lives?

BB @ LPC does not answer these questions, but it provides opportunities to ask them.

BB @LPC recognises a thirst for beauty, adventure and danger in our boys and young men, and seeks to provide safe ways for this to be experienced, and these questions to be asked. For $50 per term, your boy could be a part of this too.

We have a diverse bunch of young guys from a bunch of different backgrounds, some play fire football, some go to various churches on Sunday, and they are led by an equally diverse bunch of men who want to see boys grow into men who live better lives.
