I’ve just been informed that I forgot to include the location for where the Seed Saving workshop is to be held next week. It wasn’t included in the Wednesday Edition.
The workshop is at Upper Hutt Library.

Guess how many pages there are on The Upper Hutt Connection. 1,000?, 2,000? – The actual number is in-between, about 1,500. 1,500 pages to manage is rather crazy so I figured some housekeeping is in order.
As I’m now uploading each Wednesday Edition into The Upper Hutt Connection Archives now, I figured there’s little point in keeping all the old articles up. Therefore, I’ve started the task of removing all old articles – except for recipes, worship services, and household tips and hints.
In the archives section, each year has now been separated into it’s own page. Currently there is a page for 2024 and a page for 2025. Each Wednesday Edition will now have all it’s general news, sports articles, and all other articles listed, minus the community events. – Recipes, and worship services are consistent in each Wednesday Edition.
At the start of each new year, I’ll remove the articles from the previous year. This will help keep The Upper Hutt Connection more manageable.
Remember, each Wednesday Edition will always be available to view from the Archives page.
I did my best to trim down the file size of the PDF but the file size is largely determined by the size and amount of graphics in the file. I feel this was probably caused by the posters included in this one, and it was kind of unavoidable with them because if I make them any smaller the text becomes unreadable.
I’m toying with the idea of when it comes to articles that have multiple images, I’ll provide a link to the article on the site where all the images related to the article will be able to be viewed.
Well, those are my thoughts for now.
