Here’s an unusual but effective way of keeping your strawberries fresher for longer this Christmas. This means that there is no need to buy them on Christmas Eve – you can buy them well ahead of time.

Simply take the punnet of strawberries, wrap the punnet in newspaper, and keep it in the fridge. This will keep the strawberries fresh for several days, instead of overnight.
