You have nothing to fear from them, as daddy long-legs are harmless to people, but other spiders and insects avoid them like the plague. The truth is, is that daddy long-legs are poisonous to other spiders and insects, and therefore they are a great way to reduce the number of white-tails, flies, and other insects inside your home.

They’ll take up residence anywhere, not exactly being picky where they decide to set up their webs. In our place, we have them in our living room, bedrooms, and even the bathroom.

If you want a way to keep flies and white-tails down without having to use chemicals, consider letting daddy long-legs be your housemates at your home.
