If you are fortunate enough to have a dishwasher and even more fortunate to have one that has a tray for cutlery, you might find it useful to place all the knives next to each other in the sections of the tray, all the forks, spoons, etc, etc next to each other.

When you unload the dishwasher, you’ll be able to grab all the knives, forks, spoons, etc to return to their place in the cutlery drawer, etc instead of a random bunch of cutlery that you have to individually place in the appropriate section of your cutlery drawer.

Very simple, but effective?
